Thank you for visiting the home of Wuji Mind where you will find information on Chen Tai Chi and classes in the Broward County and Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.
I offer private and semi-private (up to 3 students) instruction. I know that you will get the best possible instruction from a smaller class. Classes cover joint mobility warm-ups, Qi Gong and plenty of Tai Chi movement including the Chen long form – Lao Da Jia. Additionally, you can learn the Jian (straight sword) and the Dao (broad sword). Understanding and exploring the philosophy behind the art is also an integral facet of training.
I typically meet students at TY Park in Hollywood. When you enter the park, go around the circle to the North (if you drive around the circle the road will take you North). There will be a fence on your right as you go around the circle. At the end of that fence find a place to park. The class is being held adjacent to Pavilion #6. Here is a screen shot:

When you attend the class, please wear loose comfortable clothing. Flat sneakers are best (the ground is not suitable for flip-flops or barefoot practice). Bring a snack and plenty of water.
I’m happy to speak with students at any level of practice or experience to see if we’re a match. I’ve been teaching since 1998 and I can tailor a program just for you – weather you’re young or not so young – you will receive the time and attention that you need to get started.
These are the length of classes and fees. The fee covers from 1 to 3 students (for example, 3 students can take a 1 1/2 hour class for $25 each):
- 1 Hour: $65
- 1 1/2 Hours: $75
- 2 Hours: $85

Additional Group Classes in Hollywood
If you are interested in a weekend group class in the Hollywood Area, then you will find the classes offered at TY Park in Hollywood a good starting point. Classes are offered on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10am-12pm. For more information please contact:

To find class enter the park and drive 1/4 around the circle (south). Turn right off of the circle and then follow the road. Look for the group on your left near the second pavilion. They will be near the lake under the trees.
